the restaurantA little about us and a breif history of how we started.
Restaurant owners put in many hours, as Arnulfo and Martha Marquez can attest. As small shareholders in another Mexican restaurant, the Marquez couple felt they were going most of the work for small share of profits.
So they decided to launch their own restaurant, El Pueblo. They started in a big way - no tiny carry-out for them. This restaurant seats 160 people, has hand-painted murals on the wall and uses the traditional family recipes both Arnulfo and Martha grew up with.
"My husband always wanted a restaurant and I wanted a grocery store". Martha Marquez said. "I guess he won. My brothers had always been in the restaurant business, so this was fine with me".

Awesome little place. Huge portions. steak, chicken and shrimp were all cooked perfect. Everyone left full and happy. Prompt service.
The wife and I finally decides to give the place a try and Ive got to say we wernt disappointed. Typical chips and salsa to start but the salsa was very fresh and good. The main dishes were huge, and delicious. The waitress gave all of our kids quarters for gumballs fo being well behaved, which was a nice touch. We will definitely be going back
Never had a bad meal here. One the best Mexican places around. Great drinks too! The staff is very friendly and helpful if you cant decide what to order.
